Quick n’ easy method to bypass the sometimes-tedious Sorrow boss sequence, thus negating that reluctant, guilt-inducing feeling you get when you’re tempted to go full-on Rambo during your playthrough and slaughter everyone. Mainly helpful on a New Game+ run when you’ve already acquired The Sorrow’s spirit camo, as this method will prevent you from getting it if you don’t already have it. You never really “beat” The Sorrow, per se. But, it is labeled a boss fight, so we’ll treat it like the others.

Comprehensive guide to dismantle the Ocelot Sniper Unit you meet at Sokrovenno if you kill The End early at Ponizovje Warehouse Exterior. If you killed The End early, your non-lethal run is busted, so feel free to exterminate the substituting Ocelot Unit by any means necessary. 😈

Pro tip: Wearing the Flecktarn camo gives you unlimited battery life for the thermal goggles. You can get the camo by selecting “I like MGS3!” at the start of the game. Noteworthy; you don’t actually have to eliminate anyone for the exit to open up in Sokrovenno North, but where’s the fun in that???

Also: the crouch walk you’re seeing at times is a mod for the PC version, lifted from the 3DS port of MGS3. Use crawl in place of it if you’re playing without the mod/playing on console.

Lastly, we’ve been given reason to believe MGSΔ (the MGS3 remake) is releasing in 2025! I friggin hope so! 💥🐍

Counter her CQC, equip Mosin Nagant, shoot her in the head, unequip, take her down, equip stun grenade, hard-throw one right into her body, equip cig gas spray, look up to avoid blast, look down and spray her in the face. Rinse/repeat till she’s defeated.

Killing The End early by lethal means at Ponizovje Warehouse Exterior (just after a lengthy cutscene where he’s wheeled out in his chair). Speedy method to eliminate him, though personally not recommended. The fight with him later is a high point of the game and should be experienced. This is a quick fix option if you’re focusing on speed and also to unlock “The Early End” trophy/achievement (don’t forget to grab the SVG at Ponizovje West just before this area).
